Online content delivery services provider Cloudflare is partnering with Elon Musk’s SpaceX to improve the performance of the Starlink satellite internet service. The collaboration aims to boost the speed and efficiency of Starlink’s network of mini data centers located worldwide. This development comes as the demand for broadband connectivity continues to rise.

Starlink, known for powering online access in Ukraine, has witnessed significant growth over the past two years. As of May, the company has amassed a subscriber base of 1.5 million. The potential speed boost facilitated by Cloudflare’s vast collection of data centers in 200 cities worldwide will further enhance Starlink’s value in the market.

In addition to Starlink, numerous satellite-based internet services are emerging to address the growing need for connectivity. Examples include Amazon’s Kuiper service and OneWeb, which boasts support from various companies.

As of now, representatives from SpaceX and Starlink have not provided any comments on the collaboration with Cloudflare.
