Source hierarchy
We prefer mission operators, regulators, official datasets, technical papers and company filings. Company statements are labelled as claims or targets when they cannot be independently verified. Material factual claims link to their source, and every researched feature ends with a source list.
Dates and forecasts
Launch dates move. We state the publication or access date of key sources and use words such as “target,” “plan” and “expected” deliberately. Corrections are made transparently by updating the article’s modified date and adding a note when the change is material.
